What is GripVR?

GripVR is a VR game that helps you break bad habits and embrace a healthier lifestyle in a fun and effective way.
It is an effective, engaging method to reprogram your brain and turn bad habits into healthy life choices. The game is flexible and seamlessly fits into any schedule, with sessions ranging from 20 to 30 minutes.
What does a GripVR training session look like?
The training consists of six sessions, each lasting about 30-40 minutes, which you attend with a GripVR coach near you.
The first session is an introduction to both the coach and the game. You meet the GripVR coach and receive an introduction to the game. Together with the coach, you identify the triggers that cause your bad habits and determine which good habits you want to develop in their place.
What makes GripVR truly unique is the ability to add personal ‘triggers’ through an easy-to-use app. This creates a tailored experience that delves deeply into individual habits and behaviors. By adding your own triggers, you transform the GripVR training into not just an effective, but also a highly personal journey towards a healthier life.
In the game, you must fend off the triggers that cause your bad habits and pick up the triggers that encourage your good habits. By doing this in a virtual environment, your brain is reprogrammed, and you become less likely to respond to the triggers that lead to your bad habits.
In the five subsequent sessions, the focus is on playing the game and deepening your knowledge and skills. During these sessions, you continue playing the game to further strengthen your new habits. The GripVR coach provides additional support and information, specifically tailored to your personal progress and challenges. You’ll learn more about how your brain works, how to sustain behavioral changes, and how to stay motivated to reach your goals.
